First Tuesday Artwalk

The Mill Valley Arts Commission invites you to join us at one of our premier events, the First Tuesday Artwalk.

On the First Tuesday of every month, between 5pm and 8pm (Design District 5pm to 7pm, all other venues 6pm to 8pm unless indicated differently in the monthly ArtWalk guide), we invite you to take a stroll through town to view exciting exhibits featuring a wide range of art by local artists.

 April art exhibitions celebrating
the natural world and Earth Awareness
Our colorful planet, alive and beautiful must be protected, held in Reverence.

A walk through wooded forests, flowered meadows, alpine hills or along our beautiful coastline is a transformational adventure. We live on a spectacular sanctuary, a unique vessel of life, our Earth. Miraculous, fragile, with endless diversity of spectacle, we instinctively seek to restore balance and reawaken creativity through exploration of its natural spaces.

“When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty”.  John Muir

It was an honor and pleasure to curate this exhibit. This very talented group of photographers captured the splendid beauty of our natural world. Come in and place yourselves within the photographer’s vantage points. Immerse yourself, enjoy these moments of Reverence. Participating photographers: Spencer Brown, RE Casper, Najib Joe Hakim, Todd Pickering, Gary Wagner, and Jim Watkins.
